All the way out there… is a performance of extremes. It is a moving image of two figures on an ecstatic journey, in search of intense physical expressions. Together and apart they navigate various landscapes: from crossing territories of vast stillness and silence to being overwhelmed by sensations of speed, extreme enthusiasm and the intensity of self-agitation.

The performance is a place for reconsideration; a place where excesses such as fanaticism, enthusiasm, vitalism and joy are renegotiated; a space where screams are either too loud to be heard or too soft to be ignored; a space where singing, screaming, breathing, gasping, growling, hissing and screeching compose the vocal tonalities of affective expression.

In search of a post-human body, Mette Ingvartsen and Guillem Mont de Palol stimulate and perform expressions bordering the human and inhuman. They oscillate between formal choices and spontaneous interruptions while a fictional reality is created between the filmic background and
their actions performed live. Image-making and technological manipulation are incorporated into their bodies.

All the way out there… is an extremely physical performance, guided by energetic release and rhythmic pulsation. It is a direct and loud proposition on what it means to go all the way out where humans, nonhumans, and post-humans might meet. It is a situation where human expressions are transformed into surprising artifacts that make you wonder how far is far enough.
