Production Details / Press Releases

“Choreography in the expanded market” is a study project supported by the Tanzstipendium and the Goethe institute. It incorporated a two month phase of study and research development of the residential high end real estate market of New York City, and more specifically relationships between artistic devices in Dance and Performance and the high-end real-estate marketing methodologies. This study is a following to the performance project “LIFE & STRIVE” which was organized by Anat Eisenberg and Mirko Winkel in Istanbul in 2010 and took place in a construction site of a new residential building.

Anat Eisenberg works and lives in Germany. She studied performance in Berlin and completed an M.A. degree at the University of Arts in Berlin (UdK). She presented her performance works in various galleries, theaters and festivals in the Netherlands, Canada, Germany, Spain, Austria and Iceland. Currently she is working together with the visual artist Mirko Winkel on site-based performance work. They created “LIFE&STRIVE — make yourself rich in 2 hours” for the International performance festival in Istanbul and “REPUBLIC # 1-4” for Context Festival in the Hebbel theatre in Berlin, and for the Yaffo 23 Gallery in Jerusalem.
