Lucinda Childs’ »Dance« is a rarely-performed signature work by one of the pillars of the Judson Dance Theater accompanied by the music of Philip Glass. Her 1979 classic was remounted with a complete restoration of Sol LeWitt’s film work. It comprises the piece’s decor and Childs’ ensemble interacts with it seamlessly by interpreting her famous minimalistic use of pedestrian movement qualities.
