Er… Sie… und andere Geschichten

20 Jahre Studio laborgras | laborgras

Production Details / Press Releases

25 years ago, Renate Graziadei and Arthur Stäldi started their movement research as laborgras. The collective they founded in 1994, is based in Berlin since the year 2000. laborgras continuously investigates dance as an independent art form and language, developing their own signature while remaining open to other artistic currents and aesthetics.

With „Er… Sie… und andere Geschichten“ laborgras creates a special event to open the anniversary season: the same way a band would come together in a recording studio to work on a wide range of different songs until they form an album, laborgras unfolds more than a dozen choreographies – some longer, some shorter, some fierce, some soft – to constitute a complete performance event. The audience is invited to experience this condensed „Songbook of Dance“ first hand and up close in the intimate atmosphere of the laborgras-studio.
