Production Details / Press Releases

Hidden Body examines the body in relation to cultural traces which are imprinted to the latter. During the performance the Korean and Romanian dancers and choreographers Jee-Ae Lim and Sergiu Matis betake themselves into a physical dialog, in which cultural objects, mythological material and historical records are presented, reinterpreted and transformed. Thus the body is made visible in its being as an archive of historical and traditional heritage.
