Antonio Ruz worked at Ballet Víctor Ullate, Ballet du Grand Thèâtre de Genève, Ballet de l’Òpera de Lyon, CND (Nacho Duato). From 2007 until now he’s been guest dancer-choreographer in Sasha Waltz & Guests (Berlin) taking part of the new projects and creations of the company, working as well with Juan Kruz Díaz de Garaio Esnaola. As a choreographer: “1Calvario”, “Cebolla nf Ognion m” (Atèliers du Ballet de Genève), “Heidi” (with Bruno Cezario at Espaço Sesc Rio de Janeiro), “A” (with Daniela Presta), “Ostinato” (La Mov, Zaragoza). Collaboration as choreographer and dancer with Dospormedio y Compañía (Rafael Estévez-Nani Paños) in “FlamencoXXI, ópera, café y puro”, “Sonata”, “Historias de Viva Voz” and “Danza220V”. Currently he lives in Madrid and develops his career as a choreographer, performer and teacher, leading his own independent company with the project “No Drama”.

Video Documentation

The video documentation is produced on behalf of the Senate Department for Culture and Europe. The purpose of this contract is to document productions in the field of contemporary dance in Berlin. The master recordings are archived by the University Library of the Berlin University of Arts. Copies of the recordings on DVD are available for viewing exclusively in the reference collections of the following archives (at media desks in these institutions):
