Das Theater ist eines von vielen Gebäuden in der Stadt. In ihm spielen, tanzen und musizieren Menschen. Andere schauen ihnen dabei zu. Auf dem Weg ins Theater driften die Gedanken im Rhythmus der Schritte durch die Straßen der Stadt. THE WALK ist eine Performance, die diesen Weg beschreitet – imaginär und tatsächlich. In der Bühnenversion wird das Gehen zum Tanzen, Lieder entstehen aus der Imagination. Im Mai folgt eine Version des Stückes im Stadtraum, in der die PerformerInnen sich gemeinsam mit dem Publikum zu einem Gebäude in der Stadt begeben: dem Theater.
