Production Details / Press Releases

Images that happen somewhere else, images that are produced but not shown. Thinking of something while not presently perceived, suspending the sense of actions, displacing, re-arranging data, re-seeing, repicturing, imagining.

BTTYSTIWBG – expands and plays with cinematic genres through sound, exploring simultaneous situations that unfold different realities, the limits of what is being shown, and a kaleidoscope of characters and temporalities that are yet to emerge.

JULIA RODRÍGUEZ lives and works in Berlin and Mexico City. She studied Dance, Context and Choreography at HZT Berlin. In her current work, she explores the gap between thought and experience, the politics of expectation, and the spaces between desires and routines.
