Production Details / Press Releases

We follow three characters in this dark comedy. A strange world where wandering souls float adrift, suspended in time… until hope appears in the form of Mr X and his bizarre praxis. His world exists without shadows. Like the sun. He illuminates those around him, blinding them with a scorching sense of belief.

DETACHED is a piece performed by an ensemble of 8 who explore this ever-shifting relationship between one’s inner and outer self.

ANDERPLATZ is an international collective of multi-disciplinary artists based in Berlin. Using the ephemeral nature of live performance, they navigate the space between dance and theater. They embrace the collision of their varying artistic experiences as vehemently as they do their divergent cultural backgrounds. ANDERPLATZ is a borderless collective. DETACHED is their premiere.
