“I’m stuck in a situation here…which I couldn’t possibly begin to explain…”
Directly and without compromises, a powerful firework of images. Four Rooms is inspired by the comical, willful and violent film language of Quentin Tarantino. Four dancers undergo Tarantino’s repertoire of roles from the badass gangster to the sensitive poet in fast motion. Typical film elements interweave with contemporary dance, acting and martial arts. Humorously and with a lot of devotion Tangente Company created a powerful and sensitive dance piece, which has found its own unique imagery.
