Production Details / Press Releases
Gabrielle Nankivell from Australia is the winner of the 2015 Tanja Liedtke Fellowship. The Tanja Liedtke Foundation was established in 2008 to honour the dancer and choreographer Tanja Liedtke. The Fellowship, now being awarded for the fourth time, starts with a three week creative residency at ada Studio. Following the residency, Gabrielle will travel to Frankfurt to take up a place in the International Summer Lab presented and facilitated by Tanzlabor_21.
As a research project, “Ghosts of Berlin” explores the enigmatic memory space of Berlin as an instigator of physical thinking and embodied dramaturgy. “The project provides a frame with which to interrogate my solo practice, with intervention from other solo makers.” (G.N.)
