This kinetic installation enables motion to be transposed on to the contours of architecture and physical strength to be displayed in brick bonding. «Gummimauer / flexible walls» is a dialogue between the building and the body. An experiment in embodied directness and static flexibility.
Rike Horb was born in 1988 in West Berlin. A graduate of the UdK Berlin, she is a member of the artist collective «diese Frau». Rike Horb won the Berlin Art Prize 2015 and was nominated for the Ars Viva Prize 2018.
