Production Details / Press Releases

Improvisation! In four newly curated duos, four experienced dance improvisers and four musical improvisers explore the shallows, slants and nuances between their disciplines. Individual approaches and vocabularies come together and weave new dialogues. Curated by Meinrad Kneer and Jenny Haack.

Annelie Andre (A), completed her MA in Choreography at the HZT Berlin in 2018. Since then she has worked as a choreographer for the Volksbühne Berlin and developed her own pieces. In 2019, she received the entry-level project funding of the Berlin Senate for her solo project “META”. In summer 2019 she took part in the BangaloREsidency (Goethe Institute). In 2020, she created the pieces “minimal_drift” and “alright_OK”. In 2021 she will receive a residency scholarship at Kün-stlerhaus Lukas/Ahrenshoop and the Tanzrecherche NRW. As an artist, she is particularly interest-ed in the interdisciplinary connection of dance, text, space and sound.
