Production Details / Press Releases
The project dives deep into our relationships, exploring what drives us and what holds us back. Moving through emotional and social codes of relationships, the dancers explore how human relationships and communication are formed and how to build strong bonds. What does it mean to have a strong connection with someone, and how do I know I have a connection with someone? Through somatic dance practices, the dancers will embody the ability to listen and communicate with each other.
At the beginning of their second year, the students of the MA Choreography present choreographies that they have developed together with composition students from klangzeitort, the Institute for New Music at the Berlin University of the Arts and the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music. One choreography student and one composition student will test forms of interdisciplinary collaboration and develop projects on freely chosen themes.
The works will be shown in two different blocks in the studio hall of the HfM Hanns Eisler Berlin (Program 1) and in the HfS Ernst Busch on the Bühne Unten (Program 2).
