Production Details / Press Releases

Longevity and fertility. Fertility and longevity. Are these criteria to which “modern women” must submit themselves? At a time in which “human beings” understand themselves as individuals, questions surrounding the meaning of having been born of a woman’s body remain. What criteria will define my “being a woman”, with which do I want to identify and how can “human beings” differentiate between the two? Who ultimately pays the bills, and who has the hottest ass? And do comfortable bras even exist? Five women performatively address questions like these in dance, speech and music. In the end, the bill remains outstanding.
