Production Details / Press Releases

Thinking, after all, is something rather corporal. Physical! You know, when I leap physically, and when I leap for an idea, which is not easy to grap, which is not easy to realize, then there is a similar movement within my body. (JeanLuc Nancy)

All of being is in touch with all of being, but the law of touching is separation; moreover, it is the heterogeneity of surfaces that touch each other. Contact is beyond fullness and emptiness, beyond connection and disconnection. (JeanLuc Nancy)

The feeling of fragility and fault drove mankind to its greatest inventions and selfmade strength. The I is a picture puzzle of fragility and strength, iridescent and irritating. When we consider ourselves, we double up ourselves like in a mirror; as if we recently created ourselves just to become ourselves. Only to be able to say “I” honestly once, we challenge ourselves a thousand times, we risk bygone security and go on making decisions. (Thomas Schütt)

Being alone is essential; the spectator is alone in the theatre. (…) The theatre is this miraculous space where we are alone, together. (Jérôme Bel)
