Production Details / Press Releases

It is the day after. Now as the after of sometime. The inhabitants of this present have their now to recover their yesterday. Within each other, with each other against each other they reveal little by little who they are or who they were. But for now they share a room, a blur morning in the shade of a bred toasted smell , hang overed from the oblivion of yesterday night, in the silent noises of their breakfast. They hardly know each other and find themselves trapped in the smoky shelter of their thick head/confused mind. Consciousness develops then playing with the borders of reality. Their relationship is an after math, a memory quest. Diving there will reveal them and what has been forgotten, what has been wanted to be forgotten, what is gonna stay forgotten…

They meet in flash backs and in memory… they have each other’s bodies to remember their own and repuzzle the unknown. But how far do they agree to reveal? Bodies sometimes betray their owner, their conscious decisions. So they know they expose themselves to danger when they decide to get off their chair and start to develop their after math relationship. After as in an after math morning, we never know what we are lead by. Instinct? An unspeakable memory? An unsayable desire? A senseless drive?… Sartre used to say “Hell is the others”, in After, the inhabitants of this infernal now confront themselves to the Sartre No exit quote by accepting of revealing their story to themselves and the others, manipulating both at the same time and taking the risk to accept their potential hidden quirks.
