NoBody’s Land is about overcoming barriers and stepping into the unknown, about fugitives, adaptation, migration, transformation: we are all one and the globe has, since its creation, no borders. We are all made of earth, destined to return to it.
Once again de-forming the pre-formed, willing to suffer the loss, we are entering the womb of this earth, the cave where one-eyed Cyclops lives. We can still escape this narrow vision, we can exit it all by becoming Nobody.

Blenard Azizaj was born in Albania. He Studied at the National State School of Greece, when he was graduated from there as Dancer,Dance Pedagogy and Choreographer. He worked and collaborated with: Sasha Waltz&Guests (Berlin,Germany), Akram Khan Company (London, England), Linga dance Company (Lausanne, Switzerland), Hellenic dance Company (Athens, Greece). His career involves, touring and performing in big international dance festivals around the globe. He is also teaching his dance technique in big dance companies In dance and theatre academy’s, and in several dance studios around the world. His past collaborative and his own choreographic pieces were “Needs” (2012) Italy, “Fleeting Feathers” (2015) Netherlands.

Maya Gomez was Born in Switzerland . She Studied in the Professional Conservatoire of Institut del Teatre Barcelona, Spain. Professional experience: Working for two years in IT Dansa Company in Barcelona. Dancing in the Opera Theatre del Liceu Barcelona; pieces from Jirí Kylián, Ohad Naharin, Rafael Bonachela, Alexandre Eckman, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Stijn Celis. Worked as freelance in Berlin; performing for Art Changé Company, Mobe – Moving Poets, in the Sonnentor Festival 2013, in the Young Choreographers Session in Karlsruhe, touring as a dancer for Radio Doria directed by Jan Josef Liefers. Participating in the project, installations and objects for Sasha Waltz & Guests in the Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie in Karlsruhe. Performing her solo – Believe – in the Gdansk Dance Festival and in the Internationale Tanzfestival Ingolstadt (2014). Participating in the creation 0’1234 (full evening) of Habemus Corpus Company directed by Miquel G.Font, Spain (2015). Perform the piece Körper from Sasha Waltz for the Opera Swedish Ballet in the Kungliga Operan. (2016). Currently collaborating with Sasha Waltz&Guests since summer 2013 in the repertoire of Sacre, Jagden & Formen, Romeo & Juliette, L’après midi d’un Faune, Continu.

Video Documentation

The video documentation is produced on behalf of the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion. The purpose of this contract is to document productions in the field of contemporary dance in Berlin. The master recordings are archived by the University Library of the Berlin University of Arts. Copies of the recordings on DVD are available for viewing exclusively in the reference collections of the following archives (at media desks in these institutions):
