Elpida Orfanidou

Elpida Orfanidou (GR) studierte Tanz und Choreografie in Athen, in Arnheim / ArtEZ Institute, am Nationalen Choreografischen Zentrum von Montpellier und an der Central School of Speech and Drama in London. Ihr Studium im Ausland wurde von der Staatlichen Stipendien-Stiftung Griechenland finanziert und 2009 erhielt sie das DanceWEB Stipendium. Seit September 2009 lebt Elpida in Berlin und hat mit Hermann Heisig, Mahela Rostek, Martin Creed, Tim Etchells und Meg Stuart gearbeitet. Zu ihren persönlichen und kollaborativen Arbeiten gehören: “Sketch”, “United States” zusammen mit Hermann Heisig. Im Sommer 2010 hat sie in einer Residenz an der fabrik Potsdam an einem gemeinsamen Projekt mit Vasiliki Mouteveli und Vasiliki Filiou gearbeitet.
