Zac Murphy is a dance-maker, ex-actor and occasional poet currently based in Berlin. He is a graduate of George Brown Theatre School (Toronto, CA) and is currently enrolled in the dance intensive at Tanzfabrik (Berlin). At its core, his work has its research focused around the mythological entity of the Shadow Goddess, in all her manifestations. His process has been influenced greatly by physical practices that he believes connect to this goddess energy: butoh, somatics, stomping, clubbing, and improvisation inspired by imagination.
