»›Ship of Fools‹ explores the intricacies of human relations and the disintegration of an organized structure and social conduct. (…) The inspiration for the work is Sebastian Brant’s poem ›Ship of Fools‹ (1500), that tells of a group of fools that had been extradited from the city onto a ship sailing towards the fools’ heaven.«
