What is hidden behind the scenery of a renaissance painting? What lies behind the audible of a composition from the 15th century? In its piece “Silent Confrontation” the collective laborgras examines painted and musical compositions of the renaissance period. The choreography offers a translation of the rigid works of art into the present, via a tangible direct presence and makes the unconscious elements of the pieces accessible to the audience. In a combination of contemporary dance, Early Music, light design and costume, a past era is given an update and interpreted completely new.

Video Documentation

The video documentation is produced on behalf of the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion.
