Get ready, take a run at it, address the void:SLAP/STICK is a solo celeb-rating a constant denial of efficiency, the vastness of space, and involuntary action as a motorfor a journey through non­sense, naivety and ecstasy. Ins pired in Henri Bergsons text “Laughter­ an Essay on the meaning of comic”, Hermann dives to the physicality of absent­mindedness, exaggeration and mechanical movement. Using made up Brazilian dances and gestural mate-rial of several comedians, SLAP/STICK searches for an essence of the comical body­ in what way this essence points to something constituting us as humans?
