Production Details / Press Releases
What does going backwards mean in a society, which considers forward as an indication of success and will power? Couldn’t the right amount of backward release a stagnancy in moving forwards? And can’t we actually move backwards forward? In “the nearest EXIT” Rachel Oidtmann and Parwanhe Frei reverse the compulsive urge of striving forwards and engage in the physical and social conventions of backward. Please be aware that the nearest exit may be behind you.
