Magic and inconsistencies, speeches and show effects: Two solos about the plurality in the world and in ourselves
While the gender concept becomes the site of social divergence, Fleischlin/Meser perform the diversity of lifestyles and (gender) identities. A hybrid of human and meadow looks for an alternative communication model and a shape-shifter exposes herself in a wild choreography of transformation. In their queer game of confusion, they lead role models ad absurdum.
Fleischlin/Meser are interested in the non-compliant, in ways of thinking and living beyond the norm. They are convinced that for a global understanding process it is urgently necessary to make otherness visible in a way that does not underpin existing misunderstandings but creates points of contact and facilitates encounters. In their works, they combine research on political/social themes with fragments from the pop business to create idiosyncratic hybrid evenings.
