Production Details / Press Releases

In U.T.C.H. (Una Tarde Comiendo Hormigas), a global pandemic forces people into domestic isolation; a return to work is impossible. Creating an increase in the cost of living and basic supplies. The priority now is survival, eating and paying debts.
This situation puts in check our 2 protagonists, a Colombian and a Spanish, who are trapped in a small apartment. With no exit date in sight, a series of situations will occur that will test their emotional and mental endurance, escaping from all logical reality/time space.

Nisham is a hybrid urban dance company formed by different groups of performers, directed by Nia Torres, with its own scenic language at the disposal of the projects that the company undertakes. It has toured the Catalan and national territory, in various autonomous communities such as Vila – Real, Madrid, Pamplona and Benicarló. In Barcelona, it has performed in the following venues and festivals: L’altre Festival, Festival Hop, Teatre Tantarantana, Centro Cultural Les Corts, Centro Cívico la Barceloneta, R.A.I, Pla Roig, Hop Sant Andreu and Auditori de Sant Martí among others, in 2020 and currently. It receives support for the creation of centers such as the Sant Martí Civic Center – Auditori de St. Martí, Barceloneta Civic Center, Fabra i Coats Creation Factories, Hop Bcn platform, l’Estruch de Sabadell, La Unió Santcugatenca, among others. In 2022 they cross the pond to tour Ecuador, in several fairs in Latin America, in festivals such as A Cielo Abierto, supported by IBERESCENA.
