Inspired by Sara Maitland’s text “a book of silence” and fueled by the extraordinary situation triggered by the pandemic, questions were raised – Can silence be visualized? What moves in the vacuum of silence? Can silence be measured or is it just a construct of our imagination, dependent on the level of attention?
Do we fear nothing more than the rule of silence or the rule of the absence of noise? How much silence can a dance performance support?
