EQUALITY!

PURPLE Internationales Tanzfestival für junges Publikum | Uferstudios

Production Details / Press Releases

Using the stylistic devices of dance, acrobatics and language, EQUALITY! makes the complex issue of equality accessible to children. A woman and a man meet on stage. They wish to be completely equal. In the midst of the audience, with full physical commitment and a lot of humour, they find all kinds of absurd ways to show what equality between two people of different sexes could look like. They decide together, face the same challenges, give each other the same chances and get equal attention. Even though it is sometimes difficult, they don’t give up, because one thing is certain: in every case they are equally unique.
