Production Details / Press Releases
„Hello Kevin — Installation of the Senses“ is a hybrid between dance performance, exhibition, music and media chat transmission. The installation is intended to present the current state of contemporary dance in an installative performance.
Despite the current limitation, an experience of the senses will be felt in the installation. A decoupled anxiety coping space, a mixture of analogue original encounters and new media spaces. These discursive spaces reflect what has been experienced and provide a view into the future.
The current state also leaves its mark on dance. Dance lives from physical contact and interpersonal energies in space. What happens to a dance language that undergoes such a reform. What are the new needs of this language?
The installation examines the ambivalence and conditions of these rooms. Kevin is the host for this research between humans and space.
